World's First Multi-Room Online Poker Tournament Announced

The Online Series of Poker has been announced, giving online poker players the opportunity to win a share of $100,000 in prize money by qualifying through online poker tournaments.

Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) June 2, 2005 -- The Online Series of Poker (OSOP) has just been announced, presenting online poker players worldwide the unprecedented opportunity to win a share of $100,000 in prize money by qualifying through online poker tournaments at participating online poker rooms. Poker tourneys hottest hand in Deadwood

DEADWOOD - With tournaments nearly every night of the week, poker is the hottest game in Deadwood, and Texas Hold 'Em is the big ticket with many card players.

The game has become so popular that the Deadwood Gaming Association is asking that entry fees for poker tournaments be allowed to exceed $100, according to Larry Eliason, executive director of the state Gaming Commission.

A June 14 hearing has been set to determine if those higher fees are prohibited by a state law that sets a $100 bet limit in Deadwood, he said.
