Poker Academy Pro 2.0
Well I’ve recently
been working with a new Hold’em game, Poker Academy
Pro 2.0, which is a welcome entry into a small field of tournament
or No-limit poker simulations. Poker Academy has a ring game
client, but it really emphasizes tournament play. You can
go from a single table online all the way to the WSOP, testing
your skills against the players and large fields encountered
in the larger tournaments available today. You can play against
the competition at your local bar or casino, and crank up
the competition to compete against world class players if
you think your skills are ready.
The game plays very well and the flexibility
of environment, availability of different opponents, and the
ability to easily modify the opponents provide an excellent
tool for the player to practice his tournament or ring play,
in a myriad of poker situations. You can quickly set up a
game that reflects your home game almost exactly, then practice
against the players you face every Friday night, while developing
a better strategy for the game.
The online capability basically allows you to
run your own online game or tournament. If the guys can’t
get kitchen passes, fire up the game and have the Friday night
game online. Just think, you won’t have to put up with
Joe’s cigarettes, and the fridge is full of your favorite
beverage. You can have a ring game, or easily set it up as
a tournament situation.
In comparison with the main competition, “Turbo Tournament
Hold’em,” Poker Academy Pro allows
you to practice in No-limit ring games, and the opposition
modification is significantly improved and more intuitive.
Poker Academy Pro is definitely a great game to help you improve
your No-limit poker skills.
